Frequently asked questions

Before you choose

Do I need a boating license?

No. None of our boats require a boating license. Before departure you get a personal briefing on steering, mooring and the rules on the water.

Which boat suits our group?

With seven or eight people, go for the Hurricane or the Yellow Dutch Sloop. The Betty Boop, the Orange Dutch Sloop and the Blue Dutch Sloop take up to six people.

What is the difference between a powerboat and a sloop?

The powerboats are sporty and powerful: suited to tubing, and with the Betty Boop to wakeboarding too. The sloops move at a calm pace and are very easy to handle, great for families and for snorkeling.

What is included in the rental?

Life jackets for all passengers, including children’s sizes, a personal briefing, a map of Bonaire with snorkeling spots and mooring buoys, and a cooler without ice. Fuel, the STINAPA Nature Fee and ice are not included.

What time does a half or full day start?

A half day is 4 hours and starts at 9:00 or 13:00. A full day on a powerboat runs from 9:00 to 17:00, on a sloop from 9:30 to 16:30.
